Omega - Non-Combat Scientists
These civilians have joined the Universal Union for only one thing. To study & progress technology for themselves and the Universal Union. While they may take minor training in self-defense or CQC, these civilians aren’t often armed with more then a pistol, and are not a military division. They do not order units, and units do not order them. (Unless it is an OfC+)

Ranks in this division is only from intellectual power, nothing else.


Helix - Medical
These units are the units that’ll fix you up after you took a few bullets in the body. Using futuristic technology such as “biogel” to help fix soldiers up, this division is your generic “Medical” Division.


Nova - Close Quarters Combat
Nova was founded on the principal of CQC in buildings like Housing Complexes. The units take the regular training regiment from Union, but are also trained in Close Quarters Combat. These units are often firstly picked for the Overwatch Units.


Grid - (Combat?) Engineers
Combat(?) Engineers are the people who’ll be setting up turrets to defend a hard point. These units carry things such as welding kits, bolting tools, and hammer & Nails, and maybe some scrap-material incase something breaks on the field.



Sentinel - Long-Range Combat
Sentinel was founded during a time period in which there was a lack of over-watch units. Taking over their duty for defending locations such as outposts, these units would normally be armed with some form of sniper rifle or semi-automatic assault rifle for long range engagement. These units aren’t trained in CQC all too much. (Overwatch Duty is used as if it was XCOM: Enemy Unknown “Overwatch”. So basically, it means to camp Razz)


Union - No Specialization
This division has no specialization what-so-ever. Units are automatically placed into here if they have yet to select a division. These units will normally be trained in a variety of things from all divisions. A little bit of Long-Range. A little bit of Close-Range. A little bit of medicine, such as treating a wound.


Phantom - Intelligence Division
Phantom units were founded for the sake of providing intel on enemy movements, positions, and tactics. These units pratically hunt down the Lambda Resistance, using whatever means to do so. These are the only authorized units that can go into undercover without being presumed a rebel. Sleeper-units are units who join the resistance, but have a secret, unspoken loyality to the Union. They are heavily brain washed to keep their loyality.


Spectre - Internal Affairs (Military Police)
Internal Affairs, otherwise known as the Military Police to units, is exactly what it sounds like. If a unit is to break rules, these units are the ones that normally dish it out. Taking orders only from the Commander or Sectorial, or maybe even higher, these units closely work with the Judicial Units. These units, if not acting as Internal Affairs / Military Police, act much alike “Union”


Judge - Judicial Unit

Judicial Units work hand in hand with Spectre, punishing units who do not follow the Universal Union’s rules. Judge units are known to be friends with Phantom Units. This is because Judge units are trained in interrogation tactics, practicing them on anti-citizens that information must come from. These units, when not doing their specialized jobs, will act much alike the “Union” Division.

Shield - Heavy Unit

Shield division is a heavy unit, often with some form of Heavy Assault rifle, (Light Machine Gun), are used in Push/Pull operations. They are heavily brainwashed, and act highly like OTA units. However, the only thing that seperates them is their intellect. While OTA units mostly take orders in order to do tasks, Shield units are entrusted to make their own decisions, much like a regular unit would be. These units are basically an Advanced form of Union Division.


Valence - Multi-Specialization

Valence Units are multi-specialized units. In order to join this division, you must have first become an 01 of the current division you are in. You may only join it when you are in 01, at which point, you are demoted back to 05. Valence are brainwashed more then the normal, and have access to training that their current rank would allow them. However, their range of available training is now available from every single division. Helix units are known to join this division.



Viper - Strategy & Tactics

These units are squad-leaders. They are trained in strategy, tactics, and command. The Sectorial and Commander were picked from this division. These units are unique, due to their command status. While every unit that’s an 01 or lower cannot do too much, they are able to create squads for battle operations, if said units do not already belong to one. These units lead Battle-Operations most of the time.




Ghost - Stealth Operations

Ghost units are trained for special operations. These units are highly classified, highly brainwashed, and are very powerful. They have little to no humanity left after the rank of oh-four, due to the extensive brain washing. These units are trained for stealth, and work almost side by side with Phantom. However, these units aren’t here to get information. These units are trained to eleminate anything that stands.

too many divisions causes problems imo

ghost, nova, sentinel, shield, should all be standards that proper units are trained to anyways aside from LMG which i would imagine if you need an LMG then you might as well deploy OTA. there shouldn't need to be a specialization for such things. valence sounds like it would cause a lot of problems, so does phantom.

the only one i think could be usefull and not cause problems would be spectre

viper is literally absorbing a rank into a division, and the scientists thing i would imagine, unless there's something extraordinary to explore, would be extremely boring because they'd never leave the nexus

I agree, too many divisions. At most I think five is the highest we could work with. Some of those might work better as OTA anyway.
